We enjoyed a glorious morning in the sunshine at Dyehouse Field Wood today. Lots of local people joined us to discover and explore this wonderful community site through guided walks, wildlife trails, story telling and children’s crafts.
Today we explored Great Waldingfield Churchyard and Old School Wood. There was lots to discover in the pond and we spotted common lizards basking in the sunshine and a common blue butterfly on the meadow.
A great day was enjoyed by all who attended the Melford Walk today to take part in identifying and recording the plants present along this disused railway line.
